The RV Live-In test

Whether you are buying your first RV or your last, when you have found what you believe to be the right rig for you, give it a ‘live-in test.’ That means to go through the motions that you normally go through in the way you live, for example, for the man, find YOUR CHAIR where you will sit in the evening watching TV or reading.

Ditto for mom. Your normal resting place should be comfortable. In the kitchen, go through the motions of making an apple pie. Find all the ingredients and put them together. That exercise shows you where you need spaces to put all the kitchen stuff. Same for bedroom and bathroom. It helps as a prospective buyer to realize how you will ‘live’ in the rig--whether you are a weekender or fulltimer.
