Keep pests out of your rig

Keep unwanted insects and other pests out of your RV with common household items. Moth balls placed around your propane lines, water heater, reefer, furnace, and stove, will keep spiders away. Vaseline around openings from outside to inside will keep ants out.

Steel wool stuffed into outside-to-inside openings will also deter critters from joining you. Chlorine-based cleansers like Comet sprinkled around your tires will keep ants and mice from climbing up the tires and entering. But use this as a last resort, since chlorine is toxic to small animals.
