Summer is cookout weather, and barbecuing saves on clean up of pots and pans as well. But using briquettes is messy, dirty, requires long start times, and even messier clean up.
Switching to a gas grill is none of the above, and the barbecue taste you get comes from juices dripping down on the heating elements--not from charcoal.
You can make your barbecuing even more efficient by hooking up the gas line directly to your propane tank with a simple conversion kit found in most RV supply stores so you don't have to buy the pricey green canisters.
