Can you run propane frig or furnace while driving?

Newer RV propane appliances (frig, furnace) are safe to run while driving, but should be turned off when refueling--with both vehicle fuel and propane.

And don't forget to turn off the appliance as well as the propane valve, you don't want the igniter trying to light the frig (sparking) with gas fumes around.

It is also illegal to drive through some tunnels or onto a ferry with the propane system on. Make sure you know and follow the rules for your safety as well as others.
