If you have carpeting rather than linoleum in your RV you know that keeping dirt and debris from the outside from getting ground into your carpet on the inside is a chore. The dirt will not just make the carpeting dirty but will also reduce its life expectancy--and re-carpeting every few years is expensive.
A simple and inexpensive way to keep dirt at bay--and better looking than plastic runners--is to pick up carpet samples from carpet stores. Sometime the stores just throw them away while others sell them for a dollar or two.
Spread them around the walking areas, especially at entry, and they will add color and a distinctive design. When they get soiled throw them away and get more. They will add years to your wall to wall carpeting.
