RVers don't have a lot of unused space to put up a full-size Christmas tree, and usually opt for a coffee table top tree.
This year--especially if you are wintering in the desert--try creating your own Christmas tree.
First, rescue a suitable tumbleweed. Then drill a hole in a small piece of 2 X 4 to secure its root base, or build a rock cairn to insert the base into and wrap a decorative paper around it.
Wrap a light string around your tree and add some decorations. You might even try making your own decorations from art paper, pinion pine nuts, pieces of cacti skeleton, and anything else you can find on a scavenger walk. I guarantee you your holiday tree will be unique.
