Helping out

The economic downturn has not fully recovered, and campgrounds, especially those dependent on government funding such as at state parks and national forests, have severely restricted budgets.

You can help with little random acts--which if we all did would make a difference--like picking up trash when you see it, paying your fees immediately instead of making the host run you down, and volunteering to help out where help is needed if you are staying more than just a couple days. Not only will you be helping the parks, but you will feel good about yourself also.
