Is a campground membership right for you?

If you are new to RVing, wait a bit before you buy that campground membership. It may seem like a good deal in the beginning, but check out some of the campgrounds and resorts in their system first.

Talk with some members to see how they like the membership. Can you get a campsite during the busy season?

Consider that for the membership to really be economical, you will have to stay a great percentage of your camping days there. That limits you to those areas of the country where there are member campgrounds.

A good plan might be to wander the country first, then decide where you would like to settle and whether a campground membership fits into your plans.
