Life is short, take the scenic route

Do you always take the interstates, the fastest routes, when you move from one campground to another? Consider taking secondary roads and scenic routes instead.

Ask yourself what is important to your RV lifestyle. Is it "getting there," or is it seeing the country's incredible scenery, visiting small towns, exploring our national parks and monuments, reliving history at historic sites, and following scenic byways.

If the latter, when you plan your next route, look for two-lane backroads and scenic or historic byways to follow. And slow down, so it takes you an extra day or two to get where you're going. Look what you would have missed otherwise.
