Shoulder season camping coming up

With summer winding down fulltimers are starting to think about heading south to their favorite snowbirding destinations. This year, instead of driving 300+ miles a day in a frenzied effort to get there, take a couple weeks or more to "get there."

Research those places between you and the desert that are too cold in winter and too hot in summer but just right in the shoulder seasons--those places you've driven by is past years. You might find some cool--in more ways than one--place where you would like to spend a few days.
