Protect your rig from outside forces of nature and campgrounds

Campgrounds and RV resorts are not created equal. Protect your rig from campground electrical surges by installing surge protectors (photo - left) between the campground system and your TV, computer, and any other electrical devices that could be damaged by an electrical spike or lightening strike.

Excessive water pressure in the campground system could also lead to leaks in your rig's plumbing system--and you don't want a water leak somewhere where you can't see it. Install a water pressure regulator (photo - left) on the rig's female fitting--where you connect the water hose--which will reduce the water pressure throughout your system.
