When warming up your shower or dishwashing water, catch the water in a clean container.
You can use this water for cooking spaghetti, filling drinking water bottles, rinsing your dishes, brushing your teeth, boiling vegetables, hot dogs, and seal-in-a-pouch meals, and flushing your toilet.
Best of all you are not wasting water or filling up your gray water waste tank which, if you don't have a sewer or water hookup, will enable you to last longer before driving to dump and fill your water tank.
