Fulltimer RVers often rustle up gourmet meals in their rig's galley. But if you only get to use your rig on weekends or on vacation, you probably don't want to spend it cooking.
You can save your camping time for more fun things by planning and preparing your meals at home before you leave.
Make sauces, stews, soups, casseroles, and other side dishes ahead and freeze them, then you just need to warm them up for dinner. Make mixes like pancakes and waffles ahead of time--you don't have to carry around all the different ingredients.
Meats and vegetables in zip-loc bags with their marinades will be ready to cook, and use your grill to get your other half into the process--and free up time spent in the kitchen.
