Campsite parking takes practice but rewards are great

Want to impress the campground gallery? Learn to back your rig into a campsite using only hand signals.

The on-the-ground Controller runs the show. Stand where the driver can see you in the side view mirrors. As the rig moves, move with it, always keeping the mirror in view.

Use standard signals, for stop, come back, go forward, turn right, turn left. If you need to step away from the mirror view, stop the vehicle, then resume when you return.

Walk up to the driver--don't yell--if you need to confer. For the driver, move slowly, if you can't see the Controller--stop. It's not rocket science, but it takes practice, and a perfect parking maneuver before the watching neighbors is worth it.
